Small guest harbor with berths on the inside of the floating dock and alongside on the outside. The outside is exposed to some waves when the pilot boat comes and goes. Be aware of shallow water on the outside of the floating dock closest to the gangway, less than 2 meters at low tide.
Store (well-stocked Joker), fuel, and small equipment shop (Kystedepotet) nearby.

Approach and maritime conditions: The sailing club's harbor at Steilene is located in the strait between Storsteila and Persteila. The permanent installations are located on Persteila. Persteila is part of the Steilene leisure area. Guest berths can be found along the fixed wooden piers as well as on the north side of the floating breakwater. Additionally, guest berths are available on the two floating pontoons. These are marked with green signs. Typically, there will be at least 20 guest berths available. On weekends, many of the permanent boats will be away. Then there will be more green signs and the number of guest berths will increase significantly. The harbor guard helps everyone find a suitable spot.
Mooring: The harbor is protected by a rubble mound breakwater and floating wave breaker to the south. The remaining sector is protected by the islands and Nesoddlandet. The harbor is affected by traffic sea and strong winds. This requires seamanlike mooring and attentiveness. When this is observed, one can lay safely. This is evidenced by 25 years of operational experience. Guest boats should not anchor when docking. The floating piers are held in place by bottom chains, which inevitably cause the anchor to get stuck. The depth conditions vary from 1.5m to 10m.
The Area: In the clubhouse of Nesodden Sailing Association, there is a kiosk/café. The waffles are known to be especially good! Many families with children visit Steilene in the summer. Crab fishing is a favorite, and children often find other playmates on the island. Barbecuing is allowed on land. Please use the designated grills. Personal grills must not be used on the piers in the harbor or near buildings. Swimming in the harbor is discouraged for safety reasons. Instead, use the beach and swimming float south of the breakwater or the beach south of the factory building. Garbage is to be disposed of in containers on the pier north of the factory building. There is a separate container for glass and metal. The septic station is also located here. Moor on the south side of the concrete pier. The harbor and clubhouse with kiosk and café are run on a volunteer basis by members of the Nesodden Sailing Association. The income is fully used for the operation of the association.

Approach and maritime conditions: Steilene, west of Alværn, Nesodden. Note: Buoy was moved in 2012 approximately 80 meters northeast due to the bird reserve on Knerten.
Anchoring: 13 meters
The Area: Steilene is an archipelago on the western side of Nesodden, consisting of five islands. Steilene is designed as a recreational area. In 1997, the islands were voted the outdoor area of the year in Oslo and Akershus. On the outermost island, Fyrsteilene, there is a coastal cabin. The artist Tony Larsson also resides here. The buoy is located between Storsteilene and Knerten. The latter is a bird reserve with a landing ban between April 15 and July 15. Guest spots on Persteilene. There is also a child-friendly sandy beach. Several places with good anchoring opportunities. Service facilities on Persteilene

Poor anchorage, mooring to land is preferable. Many possibilities on all sides except the eastern where there are cabins (and shallow water).
Outdoor toilets both on Bukkholmene and on Askerøya, 50m inland from the public area signs at both places.
Garbage on its own dock on Askerøya.
In the main season, baked goods and ice cream are sold from small boats.

The channel outside the main island of Chausey has a depth suitable for sailboats at low tide. Mooring bow and stern to laid-out buoys.

Johan Almqvist says:

The buoys V2 and V5 closest to the floating dock are reserved for visitors. These become dry at low tide, making this harbor unsuitable for keelboats.
Only those familiar with the area should enter the harbor when the water level is below 11 meters above datum. Above 11 meters above datum is from about 2 hours before to 2 hours after high tide.
