Narrow entrance, check your depth, we draw 1.5 metres and that's fine, just follow the leading marks onshore. Sheltered from every direction if you pick your mooring place. Either take a line ashore to the chain which runs across the big rock, or put bows to one of the small wooden walkways, and drop a stern anchor.

Two dry toilets to S of harbour.

About 30 minutes walk to Ingmarso (with help from Google Maps) where there are shops including a famous bakery.

The W-facing rock is a great place to watch the sun go down, but be careful, it can be slippery.

Entry easy but check depth of your boat and watch fr stones in the entrance. Inside there are no hazards. There's a dry toilet on the NW side about halfway down, visible from the water.

Can get extremely crowded at weekends.

Take care on entry, there are rocks, so check the chart. Once properly in the harbour there are no dangers. Dry toilets on both E & W shores, visible from the water. Well sheltered except for strong winds from South.

Entry is easy up a bouyed channel. Watch out for occasional ferries, the channel is quite narrow. Good mooring to pontoon, you'll need a stern anchor. There is power on the pontoon, but very few sockets, and easier to connect at the end nearest land.

In 2024 the facilities were quite primitive, a shower and one toilet under the old restaurant (which was closed), both in need of updating. Small shop at the back of the main building, along with harbour office. Lovely bakery by the ferry pier. Cafe/restaurant close to pontoon with good food. Wifi available. Dry toilets to the W of harbour. There is a fuel point but no fuel when we were there in 2024.

Well sheltered unles strong winds blow straight up the channel. The harbour is quite large with plenty of room to anchor further up the harbour clear of ferries well to the N of pontoon.

One of my favourite harbours. Run by the SXK, and if you're a member you get a discount on harbour fees. Well sheltered if you can get inside, the outside spaces on the S side of the restaurant are more exposed to strong winds from the south.

Very friendly harbour crew, look for spaces with a green square hanging on the land side, and don't worry about the reeds, we draw 1.5 metres and have parked in several spaces inside with no problems, and we are 12.5 metres long, also not a problem.

The sauna is 10 minutes walk from the harbour on a fresh-water lake. The water there is a bit muddy, but it gets good reviews. The restaurant is rather expensive, and most of the customers have driven out from Stockholm, so if you want a really good meal you'll probably have to book in advance, or you may get a cancellation. The showers are a bit basic, in one of the red huts, but that's part of the charm of this harbour.

The nearest shops are quite a long way away, and there's nowhere to eat apart from the restaurant.

Very easy to enter, and then a choice between bows to the long pontoon, or bows ashore, or there is room to anchor. Dry toilet by the pontoon, and I believe there are more to the S of the pontoon.

You'll need a dinghy to get across to the main facilities.

Very peacful, sometimes someone collects a harbour fee, but often they don't.

Look out for ferries when entering or leaving, they come in and leave at high speed. Mooring in the ferry basin is best, but in summer it fills by midday. There are plenty of moorings if you take the secondary entrance, but it's then quite a long walk to toilets and all other facilities. Lots of place to eat, a good shop and excellent bakery.

The best-sheltered harbour in Dalaro, round on the W side of the town. Run by the local sailing club, there isn't a lot of space for visitors but the harbour crew will do their best to find something for you. Facilities are good, showers, laundry, and a very good restaurant. Shops are a steep climb up to the top of the town, here you'll find an ICA supermarket, bakery and several others.

On the island opposite (take the bridge over the canal) there are facilities for swimming and other sports.

Run by the SXK (Swedish Cruising Club) this harbour is very well heltered except strong winds from the north. Plenty of room to anchor, the SXK lays bouys for its members to use. Onshore there are toilets, and a sauna which was not working in 2024.

Recommended.

The pontoons have been extended a lot since the top photo was taken, so lots of space, mostly using pontoons with fingers, but with some space alongside pontoons. Very close to a busy ferry terminal so wash can be a problem, and not well sheltered if wind is between N and E. Good showers/toilets, fuel and pump-out. 10 minutes walk to an ICA supermarket, and I think there's a Systembolaget too. Cafe/restaurants are nothing special. Buses run from the ferry terminal.

In 2024 parking was free if you were going shopping, but check with the harbour ofice.

Easy entry, and usually plenty of space. This is a holiday island, so space for camping and other sports, lot of walks to take, and you can hire canoes.

There's a good restaurant, shower and toilets. In 2024 the main toilet block was locked overnight, until 09.00, but there are dry toilets available 24 hour day.

I haven't used this harbour since 2022, so it may have improved since then. But it's very exposed to swell fom the main channel to the W, and motorboats go past quite close and too fast to get further up the harbour. As a result boats can pitch badly while tied up, and I've seen one sailboat pull a mooring cleat off the pontoon.

It's a bit better if you can find room inside the pontoons, but that's only for small boats. I haven't been back.

No showers in 2022.
