Approach and maritime conditions: The harbor is located on the west side of Byrknesøyna in Gulen municipality in the old Sogn og Fjordane county. Wide and nice approach, some traffic from fishing vessels.
Mooring: You can moor in the berths at the first floating dock to starboard when entering the harbor. It is also possible for smaller boats to moor alongside at the two outermost spots on both sides since there are no outriggers at the very end. Fairly well protected behind a large stone breakwater, but there can be some swell and waves from fishing vessels, both large and small, that frequent the harbor.

The harbor fee is 50 NOK per day plus 40 NOK for electricity. Payable in cash, placed in a box by the gangway ramp.
The area: Quite desolate area except for the traffic from the fishing vessels. The nearest

Sandviga is located on the northwest side of Langøya outside of Farsund.

The natural harbour is somewhat exposed to waves from boat traffic through the Inner Spindsfjorden as there is no shelter from this.

It is very simple with a somewhat worn short L-shaped wooden dock. There are absolutely no facilities beyond a bench with a table on the dock and a heater, as well as a small barbecue area on the shore.

If you are the nervous type and have a boat with a draft deeper than 1.2-1.5 meters, this is not the place for you…
I personally moored on the short side of the dock, wouldn't have taken the chance to dock further in (my draft is 95 cm). Small dock, so there is not room for many boats here.

But I absolutely found peace here!

Approach and maritime conditions: The boat club is located at the outer part of Nærbøvågen on the island of Gossa a little northwest of Molde, in Julsundet. Problem-free entry. There is some traffic of fishing boats and aquaculture service boats further into Nærbøvågen.
Mooring: The guest spots are on the inside of the outermost breakwater when you arrive at the harbor. You moor in berths. There is electricity and water on the pier.
The Area: The area around the boat harbor is not particularly idyllic. It is an industrial area and reflects that. A rescue boat is stationed here. In the clubhouse, there is a 24-hour toilet with shower and washing machine. You pay via Vipps. At the guest pier, there is also a manual diesel pump (in the white house on land). Here you write down how much you fill and pay via Vipps. If you have a bike, you can cycle to the island's center with shops, but it might be a bit too far to walk. It's somewhat isolated.

Further inside the bay lies Sørlandsbadet for those who may have children of relevant age.

When I stayed here, one needed a special card from the fuel supplier in order to refuel. Regular bank cards or credit cards did not work. So, you CANNOT refuel here if you are a guest in the marina...

Gjesteplasseene er langsides på utsiden av den første flytebryggen/bølgebryteren, samt ytterste del på innsiden. I tillegg kan hvnevakten anvise til ledige båsplasser. Ikke lov å bruke anker på grunn av sjøkabler. Ikke noe særlig interessant område, men har man en jolle og det er fullt i havnen i Stenungsund, så er dette et greit alternativ ikke så veldig langt fra byen. Det skal ligge en ICA-butikk rundt 2 km fra havna, men jeg vet ikke i hvilken retning. Havna har også septiktømming, men jeg brukte den ikke, så usikker hvor i havna den ligger.

There is a service building at Portør Pension above the main road, about a five-minute walk. Contains toilet, shower, washing machine, and dryer. Payment by card.
