Approach and maritime conditions: There are 2 harbors on Grip, the southern one is the most suitable and here there is a floating dock and a steamship quay which the Grip-route from Kristiansund uses. And all the crutches... The rest of the quays are private.
Mooring: There is a floating dock used as a guest dock. At the end of May, this was still located further inside the harbor than the usual spot quite far out - where only the gangway remained. It was still manageable to moor there, but the dock is not large, see the pictures.
The area: The stave church stands at the highest point on the island, 8 meters above sea level. It has several times saved people when several other houses were washed away in the great storms of 1796 and 1804. Otherwise, it is nice and easy to walk between the houses, there are concrete paths laid around most places.

Approach and maritime conditions: Stadsbygd. Outer part of Rødbergneset. Note that there are two harbors here, the outer one is commercial/fishing.

Depth at the quay minimum 2m, at extreme low tide it can be down to 1.6m outside the entrance. Quite tight at the entrance.
Mooring: Floating docks, alongside or in one of the outermost berths.
The area: There are bikes available for free loan. Easy to bike in the area - read: dead flat. A nice trip is to the Coastal Heritage Museum, https://kystensarv.no/ - exhibition and production of traditional boats.

Lots of exciting activities for children, boat rentals for rowing, etc.

The area: Småværet is an old fishing village on the Sørneset peninsula in Flatanger, Nord-Trøndelag.
In January 2014, Småværet was hit by a large fire, and almost all the houses burned down.
The place is still inhabited, and the houses have been rebuilt.

Entrance and maritime conditions: The small boat harbour is well sheltered behind the breakwater in Abelvær fishing harbour, and it is constructed of a steel fish farming facility.
Mooring: 50m floating dock. Alongside or stern-to when it's full.
The area: Abelvær is a fishing village and trading post situated at the southernmost point of Nærøysund municipality in Trøndelag, at the end of the peninsula stretching southwest from the mainland into Folda. During the 19th and 20th centuries, Abelvær developed around the Brandtzæg family's enterprises, including a canning factory, trading post, dairy, and bakery, among others. The Brandtzæg family were also the proprietors of Sør-Gjæslingan. Abelvær farm is now run as an accommodation and dining venue.

Approach and maritime conditions: Located directly by the channel.
Approach between the fast ferry quay (on the starboard side) and a larger quay on the port side.
Berthing: Berthing alongside, 8m outriggers at the end of the pier. Note that the floating dock itself extends about 20cm out from the outriggers.
2-3m deep along the quay.

There is also a roughly 3.5 meter wide berth that is a guest spot.

Further inward, there is an alongside berth along the outrigger.

There is an option to purchase groceries at Kvarøy Handel A/S, which is located 150 meters from the marina.

If you wish to visit the local, very intimate pub on Kvarøy, you can check opening hours on the Facebook page 'E tar han Bar'.
Kvarøy also has a well-renowned restaurant, Oleas Kitchen, which opens by reservation. Reservations must be made a few days in advance, and there must be at least 6 attendees. There are also two marked hiking trails that are nice for those who want to go ashore and see the island and nature:

Otherwise, Kvarøy is an active and social community with about 80 inhabitants engaged in everything from stair construction to salmon farming, postal services, an education center from kindergarten up to the 10th grade, salt production, fishing, tourism, shop, pub, and restaurant.

Here, Stjørdal municipality has arranged a great facility, nice little dock with electricity, restroom on shore, and everything you need. Hiking trail along the sea outwards to Steinvikholmen, and inwards towards Langstein.

Entrance and maritime conditions: The entrance is quite straightforward, just be aware that there can be some current from the channel right at the breakwater opening, as well as the fast ferries that go in and out here all the time.
Mooring: Alongside floating docks. The outermost and innermost piers past the fast ferry quay are guest docks, the middle one is private.
The area: A 5-minute walk to the center of Trondheim. On fine summer days, Simen’s ice cream parlor is the place to go, located on the quay in front of Rockheim.

Easy approach from Roskilde Fjord - but as is typical for the area, there is quite shallow water :-)
Was 'a bit' out of season at the end of November, found no open facilities except that electricity was available.

Also found no other way to pay harbor dues than via Danish Mobilepay...

Easy entrance, somewhat uneasy in the harbor / open towards the fjord and Kattegat. Some ferry traffic.

Electricity is paid via a personal meter per boat, must be paid using your own card and 100 NOK didn't last long...

The approach is fairly straightforward, though somewhat narrow at the outer entrance of the breakwater if the weather is bad.
The guest docks have mooring with piles in the typical Danish manner. A long alongside dock on the inside of the breakwater is primarily reserved for larger boats, 14-16m.

Quite large service facilities, somewhat worn. Short distance to shopping center and aquarium - not tested.

The area: Austafjord is a settlement in Vikna municipality, Trøndelag, by Langsundet on Ytter-Vikna, approximately 30 km from Rørvik. Austafjord is the endpoint for Fv. 770 from the mainland over Inner-Vikna and Mellom-Vikna.

The place has a community center with a school and kindergarten.
There is some tourism and fishing camping here.
There is a store in the area, 100m from the guest dock.

Overnight stay/ stay over 4 hours: NOK 150 including electricity, NOK 100 without electricity.

The guest harbor fee is paid with 'Vipps' or in a separate envelope placed in the box by the gangway.
Water is available on the pier during the summer season. Electricity can be used from unlocked power pedestals on the guest pier.
Restroom facilities by the guest pier are located at Harry’s eatery. There is a separate room for boat guests with toilet, shower, washing machine, and dryer. The key is available at Harry’s eatery. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the service room at Harry’s eatery will not be open until new infection control rules come into effect.
Shop, pharmacy, and post office are located in the downtown area. (Follow Strandvegen to the Station, approx. 1 km east, see map)

Ground conditions: At times somewhat shallow for drafts of more than 1.5m, but generally a good sandy bottom in most of the harbor.
Be aware of cables and an isolated stone shoal in the middle of the harbor basin, diagonally from the diesel pier towards the center of the basin (see picture below). Deep-draft small boats may touch this at low tide, but it can be avoided by keeping well towards the guest pier. Use the echo sounder actively and take necessary precautions based on the boat’s condition and draft. Best depth for guest boats is at the outer end of the guest pier.

The area: Leksvik is a small town in Indre Fosen in Trøndelag and was previously the administrative center in Leksvik municipality in Nord-Trøndelag county.

Easy approach from the fjord. Was there during the Boat Gathering which is held the first week of July, and during that time there is an assist boat that designates spots and provides assistance.
I assume it can get somewhat uneasy in northern winds, especially in the outermost spots.

Small harbor basin, open to the north.

Good approach with 8m depth.

In the harbor, the ferry quay is located at the entrance, and within this is the municipal floating quay which is 15m long with a depth of 3.3m.


Further in, there is a private quay with a length of 23m and a depth of 3.4m.
Berthing: Longside. The outside of the quay is very exposed to the fairway and it can become turbulent.
The area: Digermulen is a village center in Austre Vågan in Lofoten.
The place is located south in Raftsundet, at the southwesternmost point on Hinnøya.
Digermulen has, among other things, an elementary and secondary school, a kindergarten, and a grocery store.
