Fantastic place and restaurant with good food. The guest pier itself is well below average - no electricity and water. In July 2025, there was only one guest pier, the other one was gone.

There isn't a lot of space for guests, but at the very innermost part of the harbor, there are a couple of spots (see the pictures). While the harbor itself doesn't have a wealth of facilities, it is a beautiful area. A walk along the beach ends up at a cozy restaurant and a 24/7 self-service (!) grocery store. Most facilities. Electricity on the pier, and toilets and showers nearby. The café by the pier has the friendliest people and the best crab soup ever - I know they put their whole soul into it. Ask for it, and thank me later.

Småværet is a small hidden gem along the coast, and for us, it was delightful to come into a sheltered harbor after many hours in fairly rough weather. Very friendly people who operate the place.

There is an approach with a lot of debris and many shoals, but it is well marked.

An idyllic small pier with fuel available. It is worth noting that there are two bridge spans on both sides that have a maximum sailing height of 16 meters. This sets some limitations on who can enter here.

A natural harbor with good anchoring conditions, but the place is somewhat weather-exposed, especially with northerly winds. The old cemetery on Risøya is incredibly beautiful and should be visited if you are in the vicinity. The old trading post Finnkroken located nearby on Reinøya is also worth a visit.

Naturally, there are no facilities other than reasonably good hold for the anchor.

Good anchoring conditions, but one is relatively exposed to the weather if the wind comes from the south or southwest. There are not particularly good conditions for landing with a dinghy; it might be best to go into Steinesjøen. It is a short walk to Vinje, where there is both a grocery store and a Vinmonopol (liquor store). A highlight is the omelette at Bromles, a classic American diner in Bø in Vesterålen.

Good anchoring conditions, but there is some movement in the sea even if it looks calm. You have a view straight out to Malangen (between Senja and Kvaløya).
