Easy approach if you follow the chart. There is a shoal marked. A shoal closer to the mooring options to the east.
It was quite windy out there and we lay in a fair lee but still a lot of strain on the anchor so it's not the best spot in strong winds.
Hard to find the bolts in the rock. 2 by the high cliff and several on the point towards the approach.

Average spot this one.

Very nice natural harbor with good anchoring opportunities. Outhouse and garbage shed. Unfortunately, the experience is ruined by boats at full speed in the approach.

Good hold against the rock with anchor aft. Room for a few boats against the rock in the approach. Very exposed to swell from the sea. Not much sleep that night, so I would almost claim that this is only a day trip harbor.
Very nice area though!

Nice bay. Docked alongside the eastern side in strong easterly winds. It was fine but the wind blew a bit over the islet where we were docked, but with good mooring opportunities, it was not a problem.

Sætre is a nice little place with most amenities available. Fine guest harbor with swimming opportunities for children in the harbor and on the beach. Minigolf, restaurants, and shops.
Cozy place!

You can now berth multiple boats alongside each other in the harbor.

Easy to enter the harbor. But sea and wind strike and come right in here. It is so violent that one gets worried about cleats and ropes on the boat. There were several cleats on the outer pier that had come loose and that says it all. They should have had a proper breakwater outermost towards Rakkebåene to protect the harbor. See how it is done in Skudeneshavn. We will steer clear of Stavern next time.

Approach and maritime conditions: Dynamittbukta is located to the west at the entrance near Maløyene from the north. Fairly shallow bay so be cautious.

Sheltered from north wind

Anchoring: Mooring to land with stern anchor. Sand/mud bottom.
The area: There should be a nice hiking trail around Indre Maløya that starts from the area. Garbage at the innermost part of the bay and an outhouse.

Narrow entrance to Viksfjorden, but if you follow the chart, it's no problem. A catamaran sailed in there.

There are some bolts on the north end of Skogholmen at the entrance to the basin. Anchored well here. A bit shallow further south, but the tip is fine.

Moored on the small islet northeast in the harbor. Good with bolts but a pipe on the bottom complicates anchoring. The southwest wind came in a bit over the islet, so we sought shelter elsewhere.

Easy approach and mooring with anchor towards land. Approximately 1.4m depth.
The west wind comes in a bit but is not a major problem.
You can lie at anchor in the bay and there are several anchoring spots around here towards the land. Calm and sheltered.
