July 2025, nice place and seems well sheltered given the rating.
Many places on a solid dock, but also floating docks. The innermost floating dock is so bad that it's dangerous. Held together by faith and some ropes..... something needs to be done before someone gets hurt....

The place is charming and we biked out to Bulandet, recommended.

Café is open on weekends in the summer, the tavern Wednesday-Saturday. The local store also serves coffee and dinner, perhaps mostly on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Small end pier on pier 1.
Water and electricity on the same crossbar, good access.
Only space for one boat alongside if the boat is about 35 feet.
Fuel a few hundred meters from the harbor at the Coop pier.
Our subjective opinion is that it might be better to choose Stokkøy Marina instead.
Relatively short distance anyway to a fantastic beach and Strandbar. Also a small bakery by the village box. Note, not open every day.

July 2025. Approximately 2 spots at the end of each concrete pier, and one spot alongside the innermost pier, at the southernmost pier. A sailing ship was docked there for a long time, but we were informed that it is a guest spot.
On nice days, there's some traffic passing by, but it's fine because it's quiet at night.

It's a bit unfortunate that sometimes some grease-like residue gathers in the harbor, which needs to be scrubbed off the waterline later... probably from the neighboring slaughterhouse.
A very nice promenade has been made so that one can walk/cycle all the way from the harbor/beach to over the bridge.

Nice sunny conditions, and very little salt in the sea here, as with most of the Sognefjord in the summer.

July 2025. Good harbour and relatively many places, some also on the outside of the concrete dock. There can be some waves from fast ferries and other tourist boat traffic, so we used some loose lines which turned out to be smart. A couple of times, it really got rolling on the boats, uncomfortable. But mostly it goes fine and quiet in the evening and night.
Very many people, especially when cruise ships are in, but a lot otherwise too.
Recommend taking the Flåm Railway and cycling back down. Difficult to bring your own bikes, at least we couldn't manage this, we don't know if it was full or if they want to rent out more bikes.
Many places to buy food, small stalls with many types of food.

July 2025. The pier is okay, but there are large express boats that frequently pass by closely, creating significant wake.
We think the island was worth a visit, but wouldn't really recommend staying overnight.

Nice place otherwise, with hiking opportunities.

We were here July 15-16, 2025, with very warm and nice weather. There are many local inhabitants, children, and teenagers right by the harbor where there is a diving tower. Otherwise, it is probably a calm harbor, but in such weather there is shouting and noise all day until around midnight, quiet throughout the night, haha oh dear.
There is a farm a bit southeast and a few meters up (the road is the one to the left when you get off the ferry dock), where there is a farm shop selling self-produced cider and various items.

Easy to moor, okay docks. There is some noise from cooling machines at the gas station/cafe. 5-10 meters from the docks.
A lot of noise from Frimannsbua on Saturday evenings, often until 2-3 AM.

July 9, 2025: the concrete floating dock is quite new, but has no water or electricity. A couple of spots at the end of a steel dock nearby have electricity (2 spots).
There is a hose and outlet on land, uncertain range. Power poles on the quay itself, but one of the poles we checked had no power… so we used batteries overnight.

It looks like it is possible to fill diesel at a floating dock on the other side of the harbor MH24.
If one has a very long extension cable, 30-50 meters, one might be able to find an outlet with power.
Quiet place.

July 11, 2025, came in with a Viknes 1030. This is NOT a guest harbour.
A small floating dock with reserved signs 'all over'. So, don't count on getting a spot here.
Very nice fjord, very bad impression to come here with your own boat.
Moored for a few minutes at a route boat harbour to buy ice cream before we went back out. Lots of tourists, buses, and 'nobody speaks Norwegian', not even at the café.
Went back and into Flåm, where there are at least some guest spots.

South of the main pier is one of the two guest piers. This one in the south is half reserved for refueling with tax-free diesel and gasoline. The inside is not accessible. Access to electrical outlets is far, but possible with an extra extension cord. Water is not arranged to reach the boats on the guest piers. There is water at the Boat Association's marina a few hundred meters further southeast.
Easy to access, guest spots and fuel markings are on the floating piers themselves and hard to see until you get close.
Beautiful stairs have been made for a roughly 1 km and 140-meter elevation hike up to a peak that has traces from the war when it was used as an observation post by the Germans.

Cozy shop and nice inn.

On the 3rd weekend in July, there is apparently a big festival with well-known bands and up to 2-3 thousand people.

Not many spots on the 2 guest piers. Several other floating piers belong to fishing tourism.

Nice harbor, short distance to the harbor restaurant "Kranaskjæret" and also short distance to the old Smia restaurant.

The power outlets on the docks near the walkway to the restaurant at the facility have 4-pin round plugs, which are somewhat unusual - and we have to use an adapter for a standard Schuko plug.
