It's a great landing spot when coming from the Faroes Islands. Getting in here is shorter than Seydisfjördur (which is the usual entry port). The town is nice, there is a small shop that gets you everything. Close to the pontoon is the local museum. There is a very nice walk to the cliffs on the east side of the town. The pontoon seems to be free, it was build to attract foreign sailors people told us. There is a electricity outlet on the pontoon, but I did not test if it works. I think there is also water, but I did not pay attention as I did not need. There is a bigger harbour with a small craft marina further down the fjord, but I think it's not interest for sailors, as it's off town and industrial, except maybe in very heavy weather when it seems to offer more protection than this open pontoon. But we did not go there.

Small fishing harbour, space for one or two sailingboats. It's exactly in front of a famous tourist spot for bird watching (Puffins and others), and a good starting points for hikes. So, it's relatively busy, and also often cruise ship anchor in the bay and bring people ashore. So it's not the most idyllic place, but a convienient stop for these attractions. The fuel pump needs a special card for paying (n1.is), so probably not for passing boats. There is a café in the harbour (9h-17h) which has a toilet.
You can see the current occupation of the harbour on this webcam: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=IgFree-2qcE

It's a rather big fishing harbour with a lot of unloading facilities in the outer harbour. The small fishing boats go into the inner harbour after unloading. There is a floating pontoon that can be used by transiting boats, or a free space on the finger docks. Talk to the harbour master to know what is free. His office is in a container near the crane in the outer harbour.
There is also a dock in the outer harbour (near the fuel station) where transiting boats can moor, which is fine in settled conditions and closer to the village.
There is a fee, which can be payed here or in Husavik.
It seems possible to anchor in the bay south and east of the harbour. We did anchor a bit north of the harbour bay in rather settled conditions (10-15kts northwind) and it was fine for fishing in the afternoon.

The marina is very protected far inside the Bouregreg river. It's a good quality marina and very safe (since the king is keeping his boats there which are guarded) and resonable priced. It's a great location in the pittoresque village of Salé, and close to Rabat which is a great town to explore. You can walk to the train station which brings you directly to all major cities in Morocco.
Attention! The entrance to the Bouregreg river can be challeninging! Do not try it with more than 2 meter of swell, 1 meter is recommended. And mind the tide. For entering shortly after high tide, for leaving shortly before high tide, so that you have high water but a bit of current against you. There are two submerged walls which are not / poorly indicated. Use satellite image to double check. Once the castle on starboard passed, you're safe. There is a possibility to ask for a pilot from the marina, but if you do prepare yourself carefully it's absolutely feasible. Once you're in the river, call the marina and go to the waiting pontoon outside the marina for custom clearance (in Morocco, clearance has to be done in EVERY port!).

Attention! Entrance (north only!) is shallow, the south entrance is too shallow and dries out most of the time. Watch the tide and plan the entrance depending on your draft. With shallow draft you enter nearly all the time. There are a few rocks on the north approach, but once inside, the channel is pretty clear and straight forward to find. Anchoring not too easy, as shore rather step and a lot of kelp. But feasible. Beautiful remote place and easier as it might look. Still, maybe not for beginners.

This is the only harbour on Grimsey island. It's used for the ferry and commercial boats. I will update if and how sailboats can moor here.

Small fishing harbour with a very small floating pontoon, mainly for small fishing boats to load/unload. Abundant space on the dock to moor.

Two docks, one for big ships, one for small boats. It's administrated by Husavík port, so call there for more info.

We were sailing from Tanger to Rabat-Salé, and were tired with the tide against us, so we went into Laarache and wanted to anker in the river mouth for a few hours. The harbour master called us on the radio, and told us that it's forbidden to anchor in the river, and made us came to the main dock. So we had to clear in (2h), and first they did not want us to leave before the morning (which was too late for the tide), so after a long discussion, they cleared us immediately out. So instead of sleeping, we had four hours of administrative work, and were charged 26€ for the "night" on the pontoon.
Beside that, it's a real genuine moroccan fishing harbour, which is surely pretty interesting to see ...

This is not a suitable place to anchor, by no way! The enterance is exposed to Atlantic swell and very shallow. Entering the Bouregreg river is dangerous as such, but you do not want to stop at the most difficult place. Go to Bouregreg marina, which is nice and safe!
-- maybe it's supposed to be in the "Port de pêche de Salée" ... which as far as I now is rather shallow and exposed to swell, but definitively better than just behind the breakwater. => I will move the spot, but still ... (maybe this info was just copied from Navily, where it is identically wrong?). It's not allowed to anchor in Morocco anyway ....
