Approach and maritime conditions: Sheltered harbor, good depth at the quay. No mooring on the north side of the outermost floating dock.
NB: Large rock east in the entrance, by the cliff, keep to the middle. Wrecked buoy there.
Mooring: Floating docks. Longside mooring
The area: Museum, restaurant.

Approach and maritime conditions: West on Selja and right by the monastery ruins. The tourist boat docks at the floating pier several times daily, but on the inside, you can moor. An alternative is to anchor at 4-8 meters.
Good weather harbor!

Anchoring: Sand bottom 4 to 8 meters partially with seagrass.
The Bruce anchor would not hold, but the Vulcan managed it...
The area: The monastery ruins and the cave are famous and must be visited (St. Sunniva legend). Take a hike on the pilgrimage path up to Varden (201m) if you can. Great biodiversity of grass, flowers, blueberries, lingonberries, heather, ferns +++. Beautiful views both towards Stad in the west and Selje in the east.

Approach and maritime conditions: Easy approach. From the northwest, the two red stakes must be kept to port, the green to starboard.
Mooring: Floating dock, alongside.
The area: Very beautiful and historically significant trading place. Havnnes was not burned down in 1944. Café, small shop, museum.

Approach and maritime conditions: The pier is located closest to the land (the large floating pier has only private slips). Marked shallows and rocks in the approach. From Alsvåg, there is a bus to Myre where you can find most amenities.
Docking: Privately owned floating pier with guest spots, alongside docking. Behind the breakwater. Payment with VIPPS.
The area: Centrally located in Alsvåg. Alsvåggården is worth a visit. Beautiful and child-friendly hike on a marked trail to Nonskollen (611 meters above sea level).

Approach and maritime conditions: Somewhat shallow inward, slightly loose anchoring ground. Good wind protection
Anchorage: 10m
The area: Take a trip to the bottom of Nordfjorden, an exceptional natural experience.

Approach and maritime conditions: One of many places to anchor in the area. Located right by the well-marked main route through the archipelago.
Floating dock in the neighboring bay just to the west, but if it's full there, you can anchor here.
Anchoring: Depth 8-9 meters, sandy bottom. Adequate swing radius.
The area: Take the dinghy to one of the surrounding shell sand beaches or to one of the small heights (16 and 19 meters) to enjoy panoramic views over Hinnøya with Møysalen, Vestbygda Lofoten, Ofoten, Tranøy, and Steigen with Hamarøyskaftet.

Approach and maritime conditions: Generally clear from the east, some shallow areas near the shore. Buoy placed near the cabin. Be aware of tidal currents through the strait. Aerial cable clearance is 12m (10m indicated on the sign) between Store and lille Follesøya. Nature reserve on Store Follesøya.
Anchorage: Several buoys laid out, one on each side of the aerial cable with a 10m clearance.
The area: Rich birdlife, dominated by geese and terns.

Entrance and maritime conditions: At the innermost part of Trollfjorden lies the power station Trollfjord 1. Here you can request to moor at the station's floating dock, with shore power, water, and WC. Marked trail up along the pipeline to Trollfjord cabin (DNT).

Approach and maritime conditions: Fair weather harbor, access through the bay which is open from NE to SE. Good protection by a 300m high steep cliff on three sides.
Anchorage: Good anchoring bottom (sand) at 5-10 meters depth. You need to take a dinghy to the tidal stones. The pier at the location can be used, but it is old and difficult to get on top of at low tide.
The Area: The main point of the location is its proximity to the North Cape Plateau. After the 300-meter high ascent to the plateau on a partially steep but good path, it is just under a kilometer to the tourist attraction North Cape (free for those arriving on foot or by bicycle). Hornvika was the only access to the North Cape before the road opened in 1956, tourists were transported here by boat.

Approach and maritime conditions: Two well-marked entrances, the western one is the widest and deepest, with leading marks on land for the rather narrow passage from the southeast. Pure fishing harbor, expect fish waste in the water and a pervasive smell of fish. You moor in one of the available berths and ask people on the fishing boats if it is okay.
Docking: Floating dock, berths. Ask if/where there is an available spot
The area: The store is closed. Bus connection (9 min.) to Honningsvåg.

Approach and maritime conditions: Viking buildings.
Barbecue areas and tables.

Anchoring: Stern anchor and rock bolts.
The area: Historical site (Viking Age) with Viking buildings that can be visited.

Approach and maritime conditions: Two private floating docks, deep inside. Ask for permission to dock there, it might cost a bit.
Berthing: Floating dock alongside
The area: Cabin village.
Additionally, a starting point for a well-prepared and T-marked trail to the Swedish border, 500 meters elevation, 9 km one way. Then you have walked across Norway :)

Approach and maritime conditions: The harbor is located in the south of Hamarøy, with ferry connections to Lofoten, 3 daily departures (2021).

Mooring: Floating dock, good depth
Area: Shop with café, fuel dock with card payment, beach.

Approach and maritime conditions: Buøya 2 is located in the strait between Buøya and Åkerøya, west of The Seven Sisters.
This is a safe harbor, known from ancient times.
"Buøyen course center" is located here.
Anchoring: Floating dock, 3.5 m depth, longside, with cleaning bench. It is also possible to anchor. Sandy bottom.
The area: This is a private floating dock, so ask at the house 100m from the dock if you can stay here for a night.

Ingo W says:

Entry and maritime conditions: Guest dock to starboard immediately after you pass the breakwater. Only the outside should be used. The harbor is located right next to the airport, so upon entry, you may experience a departing plane coming directly at you and so low that it almost scrapes the VHF antenna on the mast top.
The area: Store 200 meters from the guest dock.

Approach and maritime conditions: Meavraodden is a nice small natural harbor with a wooden dock west of Hille.
Anchoring: Here, you can moor alongside or with an anchor, there is good depth at most parts of the dock. Note! There is a small rock ledge that protrudes from the dock, approximately in the middle.

The area: Meavraodden is a nice place if you just want to sit on the dock, if you want a beach, or go for a walk. On the south side of the point, you will find a small bay with a beach, perfect for children.

Entry and maritime conditions: The harbour is close to Lopphavet, so you can wait here if the weather is bad. Easy entry from the W. Well protected behind the breakwater. Northern wind, however, comes in over the isthmus to Andsnes. Adequate depth for sailboats, but be cautious near the shoreline at the innermost dock. Ask for permission to stay in the harbour upon arrival as these are private docks. Alternatively, there is an anchorage for lying at anchor.
Berthing: Several private floating docks with old, hand-painted signs "Mooring prohibited". Longside mooring.
