It is very calm, no sea here far up a canal/river. Even with gale force winds outside, it is still here.
There is good depth, almost 5 meters, at the fixed pier by the shoreline. Electricity and water on most of the docks.
Shower and washing machine are included.

It is a short distance to the center with a supermarket and an old-fashioned market hall with meat, fish, fruit, and vegetables.

There are buses to Riga (and other cities) several times a day, trains very rarely, and the airport is very little used.

It is an easy entry, the channel is deep enough for ships so just sail in. Odin's Bridge is the only obstacle, check https://www.odense.dk/borger/trafik-og-veje/odins-bro for opening times.

The harbor itself offers only what is needed, space, electricity, water, toilet, shower, etc. everything is included in the harbor fee.
It is 3.4m deep at the western quay, closest to the green marker and the launch ramp.
There is enough water for large sailboats along the quays.

Gasoline and diesel nearby, but about 100m from the harbor. Must be carried in canisters.

6km to the lighthouse at Sõrve, a little over 1 hour walk each way. The lighthouse and the promontory are well worth a visit.

This is a fair-weather harbour, far out in the archipelago. Easy entrance, keep to starboard on the way in.
There is a reef in the middle of the fairway, it is usually visible. The depth at the anchor marker on the chart (Navionics)
is 4 meters. The holding ground is good. It is marked that there are rings or bolts in the rock on the west side.
It is mostly a swing anchorage.

There are good public transport connections. It takes 1.5 hours by train to Malmö. The train generally runs every hour during the day. https://www.skanetrafiken.se

It is a short distance to Ystad by train, where there is a good chandlery if you need things for the boat.

There is a very nice beach just north of the harbor office. Slightly coarser sand than many other places in the Baltic Sea. The water was very clean (Baltic Sea standard) when we swam.

Nice service house with showers included in the harbour fee. There is electricity on the piers.

There can be some waves coming in through the opening with a northerly wind. Moor with the bow facing the opening.

This is the island where 'We on Seacrow Island' was filmed. The house is still there. A fantastic island, everyone greeted us on our way across the island (we docked on the east side). We came over with a dinghy from an outer anchorage, so we know little about the docking conditions, but small motorboats and archipelago jeeps can dock easily and simply. There is a ferry to Stockholm several times a day.

Easy to dock, the harbour master will come down and assist most sailors.

A cozy town to visit, this is an old spa and bathing town. Already at the end of the 1800s
there were many visitors. It is a town with a rich history dating back to before the Viking Age.

There are good bus connections to Tallinn (about 4 hours), about a 25-30 minute walk to the bus station.
There is electricity and water on the piers. Short distance to the service house. Shower and electricity are included in the harbour fee.

Both a washing machine and a sauna are available.

COOP supermarket within walking distance.

Anchoring at swing. A nice place to stop while waiting for the bridge. Good holding ground.
Be aware of the cable. It runs from the breakwater and to the northeast. Check the chart.

Very easy to sail in. The bay has variable depth, it slopes out from land, but it levels out at about 10m depth. Anchor holding is okay. Backed up with 1700 rpm and the anchor held. There is a power cable on the east side, but it goes north and does not enter the bay.

There are two buoys you can moor to. Have tried in both strong and light winds. Calm water almost regardless of how much it blows. A nice starting point for a trip in all four cardinal directions.

Godt beskyttet ankerplass i sundet. Denne plassen er best beskyttet for nordlig vind. Det er god holdebunn på ca 6m dyp. Kort vei med jolle over til Fårösund tettsted, der er det ICA (500m fra marinaen) og en bensinstasjon litt lengre opp. Lite trafikk av større båter.
Innseiling fra vest kan virke komplisert i mørket, men det er overettmerker med lys så det viser en
trygg vei i renna som bare er etpar båtlengder bred. Godt med lateralmerker i renna, men de er uten lys.
Ferja fra Fårö går hele tiden i høysesongen. Det går buss fra Fårö til Visby, men det går flere og hyppigere fra Fårösund på Gotlandsiden. Fra Visby går det ferjer til fastlandet.

Good place to anchor. We arrived in the dark and anchored before the trip to Stralsund. Good depth, good holding bottom. Navigating in the dark is not recommended if you are unfamiliar with the area; there are some lit buoys, but it is narrow and there is little to navigate by. It is doable, but requires a high degree of vigilance.

Floating dock with berths, somewhat shallow; it gets shallower the further in you go. Around 1.5-1.8 m at the outer end. Outhouse on land. Garbage bins. A good starting point for trips on the island. Very well protected from all directions.

Hel er en badeby, det er som å være i Syden. Stort sett bare polske feriegjester, ikke alle i salgsbodene er like støe i Engelsk. Ved campingplassen finnes en cafe utrusta som en militærcamp. Det er stier og veier på kryss og tvers. Veldig koselig by. Som seg hør og bør er det allehånde spisesteder. Det er også små dagligvarebutikker. Supermarkedet ligger like ved togstasjonen. Et lite stykke å gå fra havna.

Easy approach, well marked, a good alternative when approaching Västervik and just wanting an overnight harbor. A west cardinal just outside the entrance. In the middle of the bay, it is 10m deep.

There are quite a few boats passing through here, so there is some wake. It calms down in the evening and at night.
