Approach and Maritime Conditions: Vikingvågen is located north of Fensfjorden, just north of Vikinneset. The approach is straightforward, but keep an eye on the chart as some areas are shallow. If you are coming from the south, approach north of the fish farm.
Anchorage: Large bay that is very well suited for anchoring. Depths range from 5-12 m. Smaller boats will also find nice coves and shores for stern anchoring, but the bay is best known as an anchorage. Even though it is popular, it will never get crowded.

Røssøy Boat Association has space for a few guest boats. You will find the spaces at the outer ends of the two floating docks, as well as along the inner transition between the docks.

Guests have access to the boat association's clubhouse with toilet and shower.

Approach and maritime conditions: Easy approach. Mud bottom causes no damage in the event of grounding. You can sail in on either side of the islet.
Anchoring: The natural harbor has a mud bottom that provides good holding ground. There are eye bolts and possibilities to dock against the land in several places towards Saraholmen. There are not many waves reaching in there. There is good protection against sea breezes and wind. If you have a dinghy, you can quickly go to Sandvika for shopping. You have the sun for a long time and the water is warm.
The area: It is a bit challenging to land on Borøya. However, it is possible to go for a walk there. If you dock the boat far west, you will have the sun for a long time.

Welcome to our club island: Ekholmen!
Ekholmen is our little gem of a club island, located just west of Stor Saxaren, Västra Saxarfjärden outside Vaxholm. Here we have nice jetties and a few buoys on the northeastern side of the island. A small sandy beach is located in the middle of the harbor, and at the northern entrance, a communal barbecue area with evening sun...

Our clubhouse on Ekholmen has a magnificent view of Västra Saxarfjärden and during the summer is hosted by various host families. There are possibilities for overnight stays in the Clubhouse and in the Little Cottage (members only). There is also a wood-fired sauna on the island, which cannot be booked. Guests pay a sauna fee to the clubhouse host. There is also a dance floor, outdoor toilet, and garbage station, but unfortunately, we do not have any water on the island.

Ekholmen is small enough that you can find your way around quickly, but at the same time large enough to easily find a secluded spot for a morning dip. Here you will find all types of nature: deciduous forest, coniferous forest, meadows and clearings, cliffs, and sandy beaches.

Ekholmen is maintained by us members, and the caretaker is responsible for the work. Members who have their boats registered with the Society have a work duty (which can be performed here or at the shipyard), and work weekends are arranged on the island every spring and autumn. During the opening and closing weekends, we have a communal dinner at the Clubhouse on Saturday evening.

On Ekholmen, all members with a registered boat dock for free, but visiting boats must pay a harbor fee.

Welcome!

Considering our high fee for garbage collection, we ask everyone (Vikings and visiting boats) to take their garbage (especially glass bottles) home and dispose of it there.

Strekkjavika Talgjeholmen
A beautiful gem on the south-west side of Nord-Talgje, one of Sjernarøyane
A sheltered bay with a depth of 6 meters. There are a couple of shoals at the entrance that one must be aware of. They are poorly marked on the chart. Nice sandy bottom where one can anchor and stay adrift or lay bow-in towards the shore with an anchor out astern. One can moor either against Talgjeholmen itself or Bjørnebærholmen, which lies in the bay, or a small islet south of the latter. There is a nice shallow lagoon on the south-east side of Bjørnebærholmen which provides a safe swimming area for children.

An area exposed to waves from the northwest and may be unsuitable as an emergency harbor during storms.

PS: There is one of KNBF's buoys in the bay. It is advised not to moor to it as they are not safe to stay at.

Cesme was one of the truly magnificent harbors. Wealthy Turks vacation here, and it was clearly evident. Elegant shops and restaurants surrounded the harbor, and we were very warmly welcomed. Here we made Norwegian friends on board who were going to sail south with us. Flying to Izmir is an easy way to get to Cesme.

From the harbourmaster: Øksnes Harbour Authority KF offers guest berths on pier 4. There is shore power and water. Unfortunately, we do not have toilets, showers, washing machines, or tumble dryers, but efforts are being made to establish these facilities. Diesel can be purchased in the harbour. Harbour description
The guest harbour at Telegrafholmen has pontoons on the northern side of Telegrafholmen. It is open from May until September. The pontoons are manned by harbour attendants from KSSS and you will easily recognise them with their red jackets and blue piques. The harbour attendants are there to help you so do not hesitate to ask any question or ask for help!

Guest moorings
There are app. 80 moorings at Telegrafholmen for boats of all sizes. Always contact a harbour attendant before mooring. Reserved places are marked with signs. The guest harbour has bookable places booked via www.dockspot.com. There is an extra booking fee. For boats longer than 50 feet, please send an e-mail to sandhamn@ksss.se.

Speed limit
There is a speed limit of 5 knots in the whole area. We ask you to think about the wakes from your boat when passing the guest harbour.

Mooring
In the harbour you moore with mooring lines attached to the bridges. The line goes from there down to the bottom where it is attached to a chain. It will be as if using a fixed installed anchor.

For larger boats we offer mooring alongside and for smaller boats between Y-booms.

There is a facility for emptying chemical toilets within walking distance from the marina (200-300 meters).

Best has guest toilets, while showers and washing machines are available at Elvelund Camping, about 1 km. from the facility.

The marina is open all year, but refueling is limited to the summer season.

The West Cove has a 256-foot dock (128 feet on each side).

The East Cove has four buoys with phone-in registration availavble. Buoys are limited to boats no larger than 45 feet. Moorage in the East Cove is exposed to wakes from boat traffic in the Rosario Strait.

Fresvik Small Boat Association is located to the west at the entrance to Fresvik. Good harbour conditions, and the guest pier is sheltered by a breakwater. There is space for a couple of boats in the guest harbour, the depth is 1.5m and increasing from the pier.

Fresvik is one of the few places in the entire Sognefjord where you can refuel directly to the boat. The station has gasoline, diesel, and duty-free diesel.

Facilities (shower, toilet, washing) are available a 15-20 minute walk from the marina.
